Van Gaal talk about match with QPR

Louis van Gaal has revealed to MUTV that Phil Jones and Ashley Young could both miss Manchester United's clash with QPR on Sunday. Jones looked a major doubt after hurting his hamstring during England's 2-0 win at Switzerland in midweek. The centre-back has been in excellent form this season and his absence is a blow, although new signing Marcos Rojo is available and could be a ready-made replacement. Young, meanwhile, has suffered an injury in training and is also likely to be missing from the squad. Van Gaal told MUTV: "The situation has not improved much because while there are players coming back, there are also players who have got injured in the last week like, for example, Phil Jones and Ashley Young. So it's more or less the same situation and that’s not a very positive one." On the plus side, Ander Herrera and Rafael both came through a behind-closed-doors game unscathed and should be in contention for a return. "I think they [Herrera and Shaw] are fit enough to play," the manager confirmed. "There is always a risk when you bring players back in their first game after injury. Therefore, we let them play in a game for the Reserves against Bury and they played 60 minutes and they played well. I think they can play now.
