Manchester City unveil new Ribena-coloured 'Cup kit' ahead of Champions League opener
Manchester City have launched their brand new 'cup kit' for the 2014-15 campaign.
The season may already be a month old, but the Premier League champions have brought out a new third kit, with the help of manufacturers Nike.
The purple number is inspired by City shirts of the early 90s, and also features a lime green tone which City supporters of yesteryear will remember.
Certainly, the Ribena-coloured shirt will have former Fiorentina players Stevan Jovetic and Matija Nastasic feeling like old times.
The shirt, shorts and socks are all in a lighter tone of purple on the front, while the entire back is a darker purple, and it also boasts a classic polo neck colar.
Inside the back of the neck is a marbled pennant tab reading "We are City".
The new Manchester City Cup Kit is available to pre-order from nike.com tomorrow and will be in store and online from 25th September.
